BRET CARTER
Bret is a certified Personal Trainer in Omaha, NE. He has been a trainer for
three years, working with all different types of people. About 90% of his
clients are women looking to lose weight, the other 10% are athletes and men
looking to lose weight and get in shape. His credentials are a certification
through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), where he has CPT and
Sports fitness Specialist (SFS) certifications. Bret also has extensive
knowledge in Strongman, Scottish Highland Games, and All-Around lifting,
where he is a USAWA National Champion.
Bret
is 25 years old, and grew up in Harlan (Go Cyclones!), which is a small town
in southwest Iowa. He began working at 24 Hour Fitness in 2004. In March
2006 he and Kurt started their own personal training business so they could
give their clients better service at a better price.
KURT POHLMANN
Kurt
has been a certified personal trainer for the past three years. Certified
Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength
and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and certified through the American
Council on Exercise (ACE). Kurt also has a degree in exercise science from
Nebraska Wesleyan University. He began training while he was in college at
both Gold’s Gym and Prairie Life Center.
Kurt has
experience working with a wide variety of people, young and old, large and
small, non-athlete to elite athlete, all ages and abilities. He has an
athletic background having played sports all through high school before
going on to play football at Nebraska Wesleyan. Kurt currently is a member
of the USA Weightlifting Association, competing in all-around weightlifting
competitions where he placed third at nationals.
Kurt is 27 years old, originally from Plymouth, Nebraska (near
Beatrice--southeast corner of Nebraska) and went to Tri County High School.
He now lives in Omaha with his wife Shelley and daughter Savanna.
